There’s sales funnels and then there’s sales funnels on steroids.
All sales funnels have the same basic steps:
Awareness, Interest, Decision, Action
Each step of the sales funnel has a very specific function.
During the awareness step you are literally creating awareness within your target audience about who you are, what you do and who you serve.
This awareness can be built in a variety of ways–publicity, social media or paid ads. Basically, this is where you figure out what exactly you are going to do to generate leads.
During the interest step of the sales funnel you’ll begin to move those who are aware of your brand down the funnel to becoming prospects. This happens when someone opts in to one of your freebies or your mailing list. (and it also happens with retargeting)
The next step is decision. Hopefully by now you’ve introduced whatever it is you are selling your prospect. Either by seeding your offer or flat out telling them what you have for them to buy.
The purpose of the decision step is to take your audience closer to the sale. This is also the step where you will likely spend most of your time. You’ll be building more of that know, like and trust with your audience.
You might invite them on a sales call, give them a free trial, ask them to join you on a free webinar so they can get more of a feel of the opportunity that that exists with your offer. They will be determining if what you are selling is what they actually need to solve their problem.
By the time an audience member gets to this point in the funnel, they are actively looking for solutions. It is your job to convince them that the solution you offer is what they are looking for.
Finally, the last step of the sales funnel is action. This is pretty self-explanatory. Your prospect presented with the choice to take action and become a client…
The time it takes for a member of your target audience to go through all steps of the sales funnel is really dependent on what it is you are selling and how primed they are leading up to the action step.
It can take anywhere from a few days to a few years for someone in your target audience to go from the awareness step to actually becoming a client.
What if I told you that there is a personal brand strategy that expedites the sales funnel process exponentially…would you want to know about it?
What if I told you there is a personal brand strategy that takes your target audience from awareness to customer in an hour or less, would you want to implement it in your business?
Well there is! There are so many ways to brand yourself but only ONE is the sales funnel on steroids.
