Out with the old….IN with the new!
Far too often when the conversation about personal branding come up do people think personal branding is ALL about maintaining public social media profiles.
While it’s true that social media can play a role in personal branding, it isn’t the sole (or even the BEST) strategy in developing a recognizable and influential personal brand.
Back in the day, before the influx of bots, when hashtags actually worked, when we all had chronological timelines and when you posted something 100% of your followers were notified, sure, social was great for developing a personal brand.
But what about today?
Today, you have to be more intentional about showing up in front of your target audiences.
You have to fight harder for their attention. You have to demonstrate that you are a credible resource for them. You have to PROVE to them who you are, what you do and why they should listen to you—and you have to do it fast otherwise they are on to the next!
Social media alone won’t do this.
What does it better than ANY OTHER strategy?
What builds know, like and trust with your target audiences in an instant?
What grows your social media following like wildfire?
What provides the opportunity to build your email list AND close sales EACH AND EVERY TIME you do it?
If you are COMMITTED to scaling your business, you have to start public speaking.
And not just public speaking for the sake of public speaking, but public speaking with intention and purpose.
