Are you SHY and INTROVERTED?

Does the idea of personal branding make you want to pull back into your shell?

I’m discovering that a less known about, but common reason entrepreneurs aren’t engaged in personal branding is because they are shy and/or introverted.

Do you want to know how I feel about that?

(If you’ve been following me a while, you probably ALREADY know how I feel about it)

Here’s how I feel.

Being shy and/or introverted is not a reason to skip out on personal branding.

Something you may not know about me. I am shy AND introverted.

Myers Briggs says that I’m INFP (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling & Perceiving). I don’t know all the personality types, but I’d bet us INFP’s are among the shiest of them all.

Being shy and introverted is something that I have had to overcome throughout my entire life.

In fact, as a CEO it is a challenge that I overcome every single day.

The fact of the matter is your personal brand has a direct impact on your business.

It has a direct impact on the awareness around your business.

It has a direct impact on the credibility of your business.

It has a direct impact on the sales of your business.

The more frequent and consistent you are with branding yourself, the more awareness, credibility and SALES you will have in your business.

Not to mention how personal branding builds your network, increases your influence, amplifies your expertise and positions you to be a magnet for opportunities…

So, here’s my advice for all the other shy AND introverted entrepreneurs out there when it comes to personal branding:

JUST DO IT.
